Milford Music Boosters
WHO WE ARE
We are the parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, and friends of students who are active in the music programs in the Milford Schools
We are the volunteers who know that a complete music program needs more than just exceptional teachers and dedicated kids. It needs supporters from all walks of life who are willing to share their time and talents for the betterment of the entire music program.
We are the people beside the students and behind them who give them the extra encouragement and support they need to make every performance amazing.
WHAT WE DO
— We Fund
Every year the Music Boosters provides scholarships to high school graduates. This continues our support as they head out to pursue their dreams.
— We Dress
Concert dress and band uniforms are expensive so the Music Boosters work with school faculty to pay part or all of those costs. Every student should be able to participate regardless of means.
— We Transport
Concerts, festivals, competitions, and outings happen every year. Each of these events require students, faculty, and parents to get to the performance location. The Boosters are there every step (mile?) of the way.
— We Nourish
How can a group of growing kids be expected to succeed if they’re not fed? The Music Boosters do this by providing food for band camp, festivals, etc.
— We Support
The Music Boosters are an integral part of the support system for concerts, band camp, football games, parades, and competitions. Everything from moving chairs to carrying water, the Music Boosters are there.
— We Cheer
And of course, WE CHEER! We don’t care to be seen doing the work – it’s about the students. But when the students perform, our pride bursts forth and…
